Weekend Arrests in East Cobb

Child cruelty and cocaine trafficking are among the charges since Friday.

The following individuals have been charged since Friday. The information and photos are made public by the Cobb Sheriff's Office. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  • Korey Nathaniel Vinson, of the 1600 block of Ellenwood Drive, was charged Friday with first degree cruelty to children, felony/family violence battery and simple battery on Johnson Ferry Road. He is being held on a $25,000 bond.
  • Jason Randolph Scott, of the 1500 block of Terrell Mill Road, was charged Saturday with family violence battery, theft by taking, obstruction of a 911 call, simple assault and criminal property damage. He is being held on a $12,000 bond.
  • Derek Paul Lord, of the 2400 block of King Bird Court, was charged Sunday with cocaine trafficking, entering an auto, possessing the tools of a crime, battery, simple battery and obstructing emergency personnel. He is being held without bond.
  • Juan Sebastian Rodriguez, of the 800 block of Mary Ann Trail, was charged Sunday with burglary and criminal property damage on Hunton Circle. He was released on a $10,000 bond.
