Northeast Cobb Woman Found Safe

Ina Wray was found on Wade Green Road after going missing Sunday morning.

Mrs. Wray was found safe around 5:30 p.m. Sunday on Wade Green Road near the Cherokee County line, according to Cobb Police, who said she was in good health and has been returned home to her family.

An elderly Northeast Cobb woman who suffers from dementia and who left home Sunday morning for the grocery store has gone missing, according to Cobb Police.

Cobb Police Spokesman Officer Michael Bowman said in a release that Ina Wray, 82, drove away from her home on Bryant Lane around 10 a.m., and that she has had a previous episode of becoming disoriented or getting lost.

She is white, around 5-foot-4 and 130 pounds, and was wearing a grey suede jacket and green slacks, police said. She was driving 1988 Mercury Grand Marquis with a vinyl top bearing the Georgia tag PMI5986.

Cobb Police are asking anyone with information about Wray to contact their local law enforcement agency or dial 911.
