Marietta Walgreens Robbed at Gunpoint

Incident took place early Friday morning.

Cobb police say two men robbed a Marietta Walgreens at gunpoint early Friday morning.

According to Sgt. Dana Pierce, the two suspects entered the store, located at 2464 Roswell Road, at approximately 3 a.m. As one man acted as a lookout near the front entrance to the business, the second suspect pointed a handgun at a female employee and ordered her to open the cash register. 

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, both men fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect with gun is described as a black male, standing between 6 feet and 6-foot-2 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a camouflage hoodie, dark pants and a red mask.

The second suspect is also described as a black male. He stands about 6 feet tall and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.

There were no injuries reported. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call 770-499-3945.
