East Marietta Man Charged with Statutory Rape

The following individuals were arrested by Cobb Police over the weekend for incidents in the East Cobb area. Information is provided by the Cobb Sheriff's Office. An arrest does indicate a conviction. Those suspects being detained are at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. 

• Michael Torres Jimenez, of 809 N. Commons in East Marietta, was charged early Sunday morning with statutory rape and criminal trespass at 1280 Sedgefield Road, also in Marietta. He remains in custody without bond. Also charged with obstructing an officer and criminal trespass in the same incident is Larell Cecil Blunt, of Atlanta. He is being held on a $2,500 bond.
• Anthony David Hines, of Lascassas, Tenn., was charged early Sunday with two counts of aggravated assault and simple battery in the Corporate Plaza area, near Windy Hill Road and Interstate 75. He is being held on a $15,000 bond.
• Margaret Anne Poland, of 3423 Holly Mill Run in East Cobb, was charged Monday morning with DUI, improper lane change, striking a fixed object, driving without a tag and driving with an expired license on Ebenezer Road. She is being held on a $2,500 bond.
