East Cobb Police Blotter, July 17-23

The latest incident reports from selected areas of Precinct 4 and Precinct 3.

Friday is the deadline for Cobb citizens to apply to attend the Cobb Department of Public Safety's Citizens Public Safety Academy. 

The 13-week session will demonstrate operations inside a number of public safety units, including the Emergency Communications Center as well as police and fire precincts and stations. 

Classes will be held every Tuesday evening starting on Sept. 20 and will end on Dec. 13. The class limit is 25 and and acceptance is on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, call the DPS training center at 770-590-5650 or email Renee Cameron at renee.cameron@cobbcounty.org.

Two autos were entered in the 4500 block of Circle 75 Parkway. 

Monday, July 18

A burglary via a forced entry was reported in the 1600 block of Alexandria Court. 

Two burglaries were reported, both via forced entries, at residences in the 400 block of Akers Ridge Drive. 

Two burglaries were reported, both via forced entries, in the 1900 block and 2700 block of Windcliff Drive.

A burglary was reported via forced entry at a residence in the 2400 block of Windy Hill Road. 

Wednesday, July 20

An auto was entered in the 160 block of Johnson Ferry Road at Columns Drive. 

An auto was entered in the 4900 block of Davidson Road. 

A theft by taking incident was reported in the 2100 block of Roswell Road. 

An auto was entered at a residence in the 3500 block of Windcliff Drive.

Thursday, July 21

Two autos were entered in the 2500 block of Delk Road. 

A bicycle was reported stolen in the 1700 block of Lower Roswell Road. 

A theft by taking incident was reported in the 2400 block of Lower Roswell Road.

Friday, July 22

A burglary via a forced entry was reported at a residence in the 1500 block of Gresham Road.

A burglary via a forced entry was reported at a residence in the 1000 block of Merritt Road. 

A burglary via a forced entry was reported at a residence in the 2600 block of Bentley Road.

A theft by receiving incident (stolen property) was reported at the McCleskey Family-East Cobb YMCA, 1055 East Piedmont Road. 

Saturday, July 23

A burglary via a forced entry was reported in the 800 block of Powers Ferry Road.
