East Cobb Police Blotter, April 10-13

The latest incident reports from Precinct 4.

April 10 

Five separate incidents of car break-ins at East Cobb Park were reported during the afternoon hours. Cobb police indicated the targets were purses left visible or stowed under the seats of vehicles. Purses were taken from two Toyota4Runners, a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Chevy Silverado pickup truck. A witness noticed a tan or neutral colored van or SUV with a scratched paint job parked in the space next to the Silverado.

A shopper at the Wal-Mart on Johnson Ferry Road reported her wallet, credit cards, a driver's license, cash and check books taken from her purse while she was in the store.

A purse was reported missing from a vehicle parked on Pebble Hill Drive after a break-in. The purse had been left in the car's floorboard.

April 11

Brassieres were reported taken from the Victoria's Secret location at The Avenue East Cobb. Employees reported that two Hispanic females visited the store shortly before the missing merchandise was noticed. 

A residence was entered on Forest Ridge Drive, with electronics and jewelry taken.

A Nikon camera left at a picnic table at Terrell Mill Park was reported stolen. 

A resident at the Riverstone Apartments on Powers Ferry Road reported a missing GPS device, DVD player and an armored car guard from his vehicle. 

April 13

A resident on Rock Ivy Trail reported a missing .380 Ruger pistol following a break-in of his vehicle. 

A resident at the Madison Hills apartment complex on Collingwood Drive reported scratches on on the hood of her red Chevrolet Malibu.
