East Cobb Gaming Store Robbed

Cobb police looking for man who held up Roswell Road business Saturday night.

Cobb police are looking for a man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at an East Cobb gaming shop on Saturday night. 

Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said a man entered the store at 4101 Roswell Road, located in the Providence Square Shopping Center, shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, asking about purchasing a gaming system. 

After a store employee went into a stock room, the man produced a handgun and demanded money from a second employee. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man left the store on foot, Pierce said.

He said the suspect is described as a black male who was wearing a multi-colored hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses. 

Pierce said anyone with information about the incident should call 770-499-3945.
