East Cobb Convenience Store Robbed
The incident took place Thursday night at the Citgo station across from the East Marietta Library.
Cobb Police said an armed robbery took place at a Citgo station on Lower Roswell Road Thursday night.
The business is located at 2020 Lower Roswell Road, across from the East Marietta Library.
Officer Michael Bowman said the incident took place around 8:45 p.m., with the perpetrators demanding cash and Swishers brand cigarillos and fleeing on foot.
A suspect was described as a black male, around 5-feet-8, with a thin build. He was seen wearing a black hoodie with a University of Georgia Bulldog logo, black pants and low-top white sneakers, and was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, Bowman said.
