East Cobb Chuck E. Cheese's Robbed

Cobb police say the suspect locked an employee and a juvenile in a walk-in refrigerator after closing on Sunday night.

An employee of the location in East Cobb and another person were locked in a walk-in refrigerator by a man who robbed the restaurant shortly after it closed Sunday night.

Cobb Police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said in a release that a man with a weapon confronted the female employee and an unidentified juvenile as they were leaving the Chuck E. Cheese's at 4340 Roswell Road around 10:20 p.m. Sunday.

The man forced the victims out of their car and back into the restaurant, then demanded money from the safe, Pierce said. Before he left with cash, the suspect ordered them into the refrigerator. The victims weren't injured and were able to contact police after freeing themselves, Pierce said.
