A Sunday Assault Arrest in East Cobb

The following arrests involving East Cobb residents or incidents in East Cobb from Friday, April 6 through Sunday, April 8, were obtained from booking information provided by the Cobb Sheriff's Office. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Michael David Campbell, 1746 Hazelwood Drive in East Cobb, was charged on Friday with possession of controlled substances in the South Marietta Parkway/Cobb Parkway area. He remains in the Cobb County Jail on a $5,000 bond. 

Michael Kevin Elinski, of Roswell, was charged Friday in the Sandy Plains/Shallowford Road area of East Cobb on a misdemeanor DUI charge and failure to yield on a left turn. He was released on Saturday after posting $1,300 bond. 

Luiz Benito Diaz, of 787 Oak Trail Drive in East Cobb, was charged on Friday with DUI, improper lane change, improper use of a turn signal and an open container violation on North Marietta Parkway near Interstate 75. He was released on Saturday after posting a $1,900 bond. 

Ray Anderson Roberts Jr., of 1513 Chicadee Court in East Cobb, was charged on Saturday with driving on a suspended license and without a tag light on Roswell Road near Robert Road. He was released the same day after posting a $1,300 bond. 

Malcolm Isiah Myricks, of 2850 Delk Road in East Cobb, was arrested at the same address and charged on Saturday with battery of a pregnant woman. He was released on Sunday after posting a $5,000 bond. 

Peter Philip Faria, of Woodstock, was charged with DUI and speeding in the Sandy Plains/Wesley Chapel area of East Cobb on Sunday. He was released the same day after posting a $1,300 bond.
