We hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Licorice did. See why

My friend Licorice hopes everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I know she did! Even though it was Christmas, the volunteers were still at the shelter, cleaning, feeding and medicating. What dedication! They even took time to snuggle and play with us.

It was a nice Christmas, but I think she would have enjoyed it more if I were in a home. Hopefully she will be able to celebrate the New Year with a new family? Licorice and her sister, Pixie and lost their home a few months ago and really miss it. She’s doing OK at the shelter, because she is really social, but Pixie isn’t adjusting as well. She prefers a quiet environment. She really is a nice girl, she is just overwhelmed at the shelter, so her real personality doesn’t show. But once they  are in a home, she will be really nice.

So Saturday is the last weekend for our adoption special Adopt Til’ You Drop! The special is promoted by Best Friends Animal Society and all cats/kittens at Good Mews have a reduced adoption fee of $75! So please consider adopting this weekend. We would all love to ring in the New Year with a loving family. If you are considering adopting two kitties, come meet Licorice and Pixie!
