Welcome Acworth Patch's New Editor

It's a farewell from Acworth Patch's founding editor Angela Chao, and a welcome for new editor Rodney Thrash.

For the past two years, I've had the honor to serve as your editor for Acworth Patch and meet so many amazing characters in such a wonderful community. This community means so much to me, and it's only appropriate that I write this letter to let you know that this is my last day at Acworth Patch. Starting Monday, Oct. 1, I'll be overseeing Smyrna-Vinings Patch and helping out with South Cobb Patch.

While it's a farewell from me, it's also a welcome to Rodney Thrash, an outstanding colleague of mine who will become your new editor. So please give him a warm welcome, and continue to support Acwoth Patch so that this site we built together as a community can grow even more.

I want to thank everyone of you in the Acworth community for your support, constructive criticism and trust. Without you, Acworth Patch wouldn't be where it is today, and for that, thank you, thank you, thank you!

It has been a pleasure seeing your friendly faces around town and hearing your stories. This is not goodbye, it's see you around! If you ever see me around Acworth (or who knows where), please don't hesitate to stop by and say hi!

Dear Acworth, thank you very much for everything. You'll always hold a special place in my heart.
