A Kennesaw resident and Cobb County native, Bentley has a passion for her local areas. She loves staying on the pulse of what’s going on in her community and using Patch to help local businesses promote themselves to their local audiences.

Bentley graduated from  and kept it in Cobb for college, earning her degree in communication with a minor in sociology from Kennesaw State University.

She spent most of her career working as a promotions assistant for COX Media Group’s radio stations. There, she gained strong background in marketing.

As an advertising manager, what's the best part of your job?
Being given the opportunity to help consult with local business owners on growing their businesses. Online advertising allows small businesses to market themselves with large, national companies. Before online advertising, that wasn't possible.

What do you find special about Patch?
I have never seen anything like this before. It’s social media and news, all wrapped up into one amazing concept. I love seeing our local audiences interact with the site. It gives people and businesses a voice in their local towns while being connected to such national network.
