Obituary: Retired Walton Teacher Rhoda Greenberg, 74

She was active with the Golden K Kiwanis Club and the Guys and Dolls program at the East Cobb Senior Center.

Funeral services for retired Walton High School teacher Rhoda Greenberg will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. 

Greenberg, who was 74, died Friday, Dec. 6. She taught life sciences at Walton for 40 years and is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert Greenberg, and her brother, William Klinghoffer, of Fullerton, Calif. 

A native of East Stroudsburg, Pa., Greenberg grew up in Wheeling, W. Va. and earned a bachelor's degree from Central State University in Ohio and a master's degree from Chaffey College, Calif.

She was active in the Marietta Golden K Kiwanis Club and Guys and Dolls at the East Cobb Senior Center. The online guestbook is at Dressler's Jewish Funeral Care of Atlanta.
