April Is Autism Awareness Month

Stella & Dot has a way to benefit the cause.

I usually like to write about fashion and style. However, this month I want to talk about autism. April is Autism Awareness Month. Through my job as an Independent Stylist with Stella & Dot, I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know some amazing women who have autistic children. I am truly inspired by all that they do each day.

In honor of Autism Awareness Month, Stella & Dot has released a limited-edition bracelet called the Shine Bracelet. Twenty percent of the proceeds will go to benefit Autism Speaks. Consider buying one in support of all of those affected.

You can order directly from my website at http://bit.ly/H5FySx.

I'll be there; rabbi Alper should be good (his You Tube videos are entertaining). CongratulationsRead More to Henry Hene and the Habitat coalition for doing such wonderful work and promoting "We Build to Coexist, We Coexist to Build." Congratulations to Addie and Harvey Schneider -- both are the definition of mensch.

Hurray for the "old school" which just means having a few manners. Ms. Smith alwaysRead More seems to present three facts after what seems to be extensive research. People can disagree without being rude or spouting half truths. I'm glad we still have some ethical and honest people in our midst.
