New Year's Eve Events in East Cobb

Looking for food, drink and live entertainment to celebrate the New Year? Here's a selection of what some East Cobb restaurants are planning; click the link to their websites for more information and to make reservations.

Aspens Signature Steaks, 2942 Shallowford Road -- The regular menu and some special entrees for the evening will be served; reservations are recommended. Call 678-236-1400 for information. 

Bradley's Bar and Grill, 4961 Lower Roswell Road -- A New Year's Eve bash begins at 6 p.m. with a fixed price meal for couples, drink specials, a Christmas tree toss at midnight and live music. 

Chicago's Steak and Seafood, 4400 Shallowford Road -- Reservations are recommended for the regular dinner menu, which is served from 4 p.m. to midnight. 

Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Bar, 2475 Delk Road -- A special five-course meal will be served from 4-10 p.m. for $65 a person; reservations recommended. The full menu also will be available. 

Darwin's Burgers and Blues, 1598 Roswell Road -- The music of Bill and Dan Sheffield opening for Truett Lollis starts at 8, and guests are asked to bring a present to participate in "Re-gift Secret Santa" festivities.

Red Sky Tapas and Bar, 1255 Johnson Ferry Road -- Mike Renna and Ty Reynolds are on the dueling pianos. There's no cover charge and there'll be a free champagne toast at midnight. 

Rose and Crown Tavern, 1931 Powers Ferry Road -- A $20 cover includes party favors and a champagne toast at midnight; reservations are recommended for a $50 prix fixe meal. Musical entertainment from Francisco Vidal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A New Year's Day brunch is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Seed Kitchen and Bar, 1311 Johnson Ferry Road -- A 4 course menu is on tap for New Year's Eve; at the adjacent Stem Wine Bar a 6- or 7-course wine dinner is being served. Seatings at the latter are from 6-6:30 p.m. and from 9-9:30 p.m. and only limited reservations remain. Call 678-214-6888.

The Wing Cafe and Taphouse, 2145 Roswell Road -- The 80s cover band Flux Capacitator will play live for a New Year's Eve bash (formerly the Wild Wing Cafe).

Zeal Modern Eatery, 1255 Johnson Ferry Road -- A fixed price meal for either $59 or $79 includes wine pairings and a free champagne toast at midnight. See Facebook page for menu details. Live music from Tawnya Reynolds from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
