11th Annual Empty Bowl Brunch is Sunday
The proceeds from Sunday's event at The Art Place will benefit local charities.
One of East Cobb's signature holiday events will be renewed on Sunday.
The Empty Bowl Brunch, now in its 11th year, takes place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Art Place-Mountain View, 3330 Sandy Plains Road.
The public is invited to pick out a soup bowl handmade by students, artisans and staff at The Art Place, then fill it with hearty soup. Tickets are $15 a person and the proceeds will benefit local charities.
Since the Empty Bowl Brunch began in 2002, more than $20,000 has been raised to help those in need.
Tickets may be purchased online by clicking here (a $1.75 service fee will be charged) or in person at The Art Place.
