Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service

Temple Kol Emeth will hold its seventh annual Thanksgiving Ecumenical Service on Nov. 17 with representatives of Judaism, several branches of Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Baha'i and Universal Unitarianism. Monsignor Patrick Bishop of will serve as the master of ceremonies.

The Cobb County Community Relations Council awarded the Thanksgiving Ecumenical Service the Creating Community Award in March to recognize its positive impact on the life of the county.

The event is free and includes a light dessert reception after the service. Nonperishable food items will be collected for the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
