Cobb Diaper Day Returns Oct. 28

Bring supplies to Glover Park to help MUST Ministries, The Center for Family Resources and more.

The 5th Annual Cobb Diaper Day will take place on the Marietta Square later this month.

The event begins at 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28 at Glover Park.

The collection drive will benefit a number of Cobb-based organizations that assist needy families, including MUST Ministries, The Center for Family Resources, Reconnecting Families, Christian Aid Mission Partnership and the YWCA of Northwest Georgia.

Public assistance benefits do not cover hygiene products, including diapers.

The goal is to collect more than 100,000 diapers for low-income families with infants and young children, and all sizes of diapers will be accepted.

Citizens wishing to drop off diapers can do so at Glover Park, or they can call 404-276-0808 to arrange for pick-up.
