Shallowford Falls Elementary Presents "The Sound of Music"

Shallowford Falls Elementary School' Drama Kids Unlimited will present "The Sound of Music" on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, February 27-March 1, at 6:30pm at Hightower Trail Middle School. This will be the 18th year that the drama organization has presented a major musical. Over 50 students will participate in the production. In the past, the drama club has been awarded two first place PTA state awards as an outstanding community project.

Scott McIntyre, local muralist, has designed scenery with the help of parents and students and has created a beautiful backdrop for the inspiring musical. 

All parents help with the production of the play, whether making costumes or helping backstage at the performances. The directors of the production are Brenda Opie and Diane Marco, and Jennie Opie is the choreographer.


Tickets are $6 and will be available for purchase at Shallowford Falls Elementary before school through Wednesday, February 27, or at the door each night of the performances. Don't miss it!
