Munchies for Mews is a full day dining event to benefit the cats and kittens of Good Mews Animal Foundation.  We all have to eat, right?  Make it count and know that you are doing it for a good cause!

East Cobb restaurants such as California Pizza Kitchen, Red Sky and Bradley's Bar & Grill are just a few of the establishments that are giving back.  Eat out on May 16th and know that at least 15% will be donated to Good Mews.

For a full list of restaurants and the event flyer, which you will need to bring with you when dining, go to www.goodmews.org.

If you are an area restaurant that would like to participate, please contact Andrea Cartier at acart1170@gmail.com or get a donation form by going to http://tinyurl.com/ m4mdonationform.

About Good Mews:

Good Mews, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, was the first no-kill, free-roam, feline-only shelter established in Georgia, housing approximately 100 cats at any given time, with an additional 30+ cats living in foster homes. Located in Marietta, Georgia, Good Mews offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the metro Atlanta area by providing a no-kill, cage-free haven for homeless, abused or abandoned cats until placing them in permanent, loving homes.

Good Mews promotes public awareness regarding the value of pets, animal welfare, pet overpopulation and quality human-animal companionship through education and outreach. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary, Good Mews has placed more than 6,700 cats in permanent homes since 1988. The shelter receives no government support, relying instead on donations of time, service, supplies and money from our supporters, the public and area businesses.

Good Mews is located at 736 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite A3, Marietta, GA 30068. For more information and hours, visit www.goodmews.org or call 770-499-CATS (2287).”
