Classically trained in piano since age 4, Carisa Turner began combining her passion for music with her love of writing in middle school and soon afterward discovered her desire to share the songs in her heart with the world. Carisa released her debut EP "Stop The Noise" in November 2011 and her first single from the project "We Declare" has received airplay on more than 100 radio stations. Her song "Lost At Sea" was recently awarded the 2013 CWIMA National Grand Prize Songwriting Award.
Her style can be described as pop/acoustic with an inspirational edge -- a blend of fresh, contemporary lyrics and melodies written on piano, guitar and ukulele.
