          Braves 400 Fan Club to host 48th Eddie Glennon Gameboree
                                January 25, 2014 at 5:00 PM
                      Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center Hotel

The Braves 400 Fan Club is hosting its
annual winter banquet and fundraiser on January 25th, at the Atlanta Marriott
Perimeter Center Hotel. This year's theme is "Braves in the Baseball Hall
of Fame." 
During the franchise's long history, forty-five Braves players
and managers have been inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in
Cooperstown. Braves Broadcasting Legend, Pete Van Wieren will emcee the
program.



A gala reception, silent auction and raffle begin at 5:00 p.m. with the awards
dinner and program at 6:30 p.m. The 2013 Metro Atlanta Co-Players of the
Year
will be presented to Clint Frazier from Loganville High School (signed
by the Cleveland Indians) and Austin Meadows from Grayson High School (signed
by the Pittsburgh Pirates).



Zane Evans and Kyle Wren from Georgia Tech will share the Jason
Varitek Most Outstanding Scholar Athlete in Georgia Award.
Other 400 Fan
Club awards include the Luke Appling Nostalgia Award to former New
York Yankees
and Druid Hills High School star Ron Blomberg. Awards
for outstanding performances by Braves minor leaguers in 2013 will be presented
to Lucas Sims, Josh Elander, Todd Cunningham, and Mississippi Braves manager
Aaron Holbert.



Admission is by advanced reservation only and the deadline for purchase is
January 21.
No tickets will be sold at the door. The cost is $75 for club
members and $80 for non-members. Admission includes dinner and a well-stocked

The Braves 400 Fan Club is a non-profit organization supporting baseball at all
levels. Each year the Club brings 500 underprivileged boys and girls to Braves
games, supports multiple baseball charities and provides volunteers for Braves
Foundation activities.
