Rocky Mount Teacher Named Teacher Of The year
She earned the elementary school honor from her Cobb County School District peers.
Tracie Bucy received the surprise honor Wednesday morning from Cobb schools superintendent Michael Hinojosa.
Voting was conducted by Cobb elementary school teachers. Bucy is one of three finalists for the Cobb teacher of the year.
She is entering her 18th year as a kindergarten teacher in the Cobb County School district and previously taught at Baker and Cheatham Hill elementary schools.
