In case you missed it, highlights from the weekend in East Cobb.

It was a beautiful weekend, and if you were like us you got out and enjoyed the spring-like weather. While you were out and about, we had plenty of East Cobb-area news, views and other events that we've compiled to make it easy for you to catch up.

1. -- The Greyhounds cruised to a team victory and had three individuals win weight category championships. In high school basketball, the Wheeler boys downed Walton 69-66 to win the Region 5-AAAAA championship. 

2. -- The Cobb Parkway location of Borders began a store closing sale Saturday after the national book retailing chain announced it was closing 3 of its 4 stores in Cobb.
