A Douglas County jury is deadlocked over sentencing for Tracen Franklin, 20, who was found guilty last week of murdering of Bobby Tillman, 18, after a high school party in 2010.

Andrea Sneiderman, indicted last month in the 2010 shooting death of her husband, Russell Sneiderman, will be allowed to attend synagogue during the Jewish High Holy Days in a relaxation of the terms of her house arrest. 

Her GE Energy supervisor, Hemy Neuman, is serving life without parole for the killing outside a Dunwoody day care center. She is facing charges of malice murder other charges related to her husband's death.

Residents of the newly incorporated city of Brookhaven will be billed to the tune of $30,000 for runoff elections.
