Cherokee authorities say that the seizure of more than 100,000 electronic files of child pornography located on the computer desktop of a Woodstock man could be the largest ever in the history of the county.

Richard Ensley, 37, is being held without bond. Videos and still photos found on Ensley's computers contained images of infants as well as teenage girls no more than 16 years old, according to the Cherokee Sheriff's Office.

The files were discovered as part of a routine operation to verify the addresses of Cherokee's registered sex offenders.

A Roswell man has been given a life sentence, plus 80 years, for the murder of his girlfriend. Calvin Myers, 40, pleaded guilty right before his sentencing Friday in Fulton County Superior Court to the 2009 stabbing and beating death of Minka Grogran, 40.
