Metro Atlanta-area Sikhs have responded to Sunday's killings of six members of their faith community in suburban Milwaukee, allegedly by a Caucasian man who was shot and killed by police. 

"We're definitely feeling concerned," said Surinder Singh, head of public relations at a Sikh temple in Norcross called the Guru Nanak Mission Society of Atlanta. "But it's not about Sikhs, it's not about Hindus, it's not about anything. It's all about a crime against humanity. Being humans, we should be all concerned."

A bond hearing for Andrea Sneiderman has been set for Aug. 21. The widow of Russell Sneiderman has been held without bail since Thursday, when she was charged with eight felony counts, including malice murder, for his late 2010 shooting death at a Dunwoody day care center.

A man survived a violent carjacking at a southwest Atlanta bank branch on Monday. The victim, who was shot in the head, is recovering, and Atlanta police are looking for two suspects traveling in his mother-in-law's 2005 teal Mercury Marquis bearing a handicapped sticker.

The apparent roommate of a man whose body was found in the Chattahoochee River near Akers Mill Road last week was arrested over the weekend in connection with the killing. 

Hajja Kenyatta Miller, 39, of Decatur, was charged with felony murder in the death of Ralph Taco McGhee, 39, who was shot in the head.
