Erin Go Bragh in East Cobb!

Where to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with corned beef, green beer and all the rest.

Most of East Cobb's most familiar haunts for special events are obviously setting up for St. Patrick's Day festivities all day today, so here's quick summary of where you can go to celebrate with great atmosphere: 

O'Shaughnessy's Bar & Grill -- Located at 4401 Shallowford Road (near the intersection of Johnson Ferry), this East Cobb pub favorite is a natural starting point for a local St. Patrick's gathering. In addition to their full pub menu, corned beef and cabbage is on the menu today. Open for lunch and dinner late, until 2 a.m.

Chicago's Steak and Seafood -- Also located with O'Shaughnessy's in the Shallowford Shopping Center, Chicago's will have a full Irish menu tonight, with corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots, washed down with green beer and polished off with some Jameson's and Boston Creme Pie.

Rose and Crown Tavern -- Well, this is an English-style pub, but this new Powers Ferry Road haunt is turning Irish for St. Patrick's Day with food and drink specials all day. NCAA basketball also will be going on, and live music commences at 3 p.m.

 -- Located at 2145 Roswell Road Wild Wing is becoming a special event hub in East Cobb. Tonight's St. Patrick's party features The Border Collies, who call themselves Atlanta's best Irish Band. The restaurant will have specials on Guiness, Smithwicks and Harp as well as Irish Car Bombs and Irish food.

Tilted Kilt Cumberland -- This eatery and gathering spot specializes in Irish fare every day, and features a special St. Patrick's Day celebration with live music that will last until the wee hours of Wednesday. It also featured a " fundraiser on Wednesday for cancer research. Located in the old Bennigan's spot at 2960 Cobb Parkway, just south of Akers Mill Road.
