A New Look for East Cobb Patch

Welcome to the new East Cobb Patch. We’re pleased with it and we think you’ll like it, too.

First of all, we think the site looks livelier, and more like East Cobb. See that big photo on the top? That’s a panoramic shot of East Cobb Park that many of you know well, whether you're recreating or just passing by.

Personally, I think it represents the essence of our community: amid the bustle and traffic and variety of things to do here, we shouldn't be too busy to stop by, bring a picnic lunch, take a walk, play with your kids and just enjoy the scenery of one of the true jewels of East Cobb.

But the photo you see isn’t the only thing that’s better about East Cobb Patch.

Now our news is easier to comment on, and is easier to share. And right below the news on the homepage you’ll see blogs, where we can showcase more East Cobb voices and get a view of what’s happening beyond the news. Plus, we’ve made it easier to start a blog yourself -- any time, about anything.

Talk about anything you want -- the freshest thing you’ll find on the new East Cobb Patch are our Boards. The Boards are a totally open place on Patch where you can post announcements -- lost cats and dogs, school plays, weddings and engagements, or something interesting you saw.

There’s an Opinion Board -- because everyone in town has one, so why not put it all in one place? The Buy/Sell/Trade Board is where you can post your
