Cobb Alcohol Taskforce To Attend CADCA 2012 Mid-Year Training Institute

CobbAT is headed to CADCA Mid-Year Training Institute in Nashville. Cathy Finck, formerly CobbAT Coordinator, was appointed as the Executive Director & will be leading the CobbAT team to this event.

The Cobb Alcohol Taskforce (CobbAT) will be attending the 2012 Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) Mid-Year Training Institute in Nashville, Tennessee, July 22-26. Cathy Finck, formerly Coordinator for CobbAT, was appointed as the Executive Director for the organization and she will be leading the CobbAT team during this event.

“Working alongside Cathy Finck, I have seen her expand the reach of Cobb Alcohol Taskforce since her time as Coordinator and she will continue to do so as Executive Director,” stated Bonnie Brand, Board Chair. “I look forward to seeing her lead the CobbAT team during the CADCA event.”

During the 2012 CADCA Mid-Year Training Institute, attendees will participate in courses to gain information on anti-drug coalition leadership and implementation strategies. CobbAT team members from the community attending include:

- Cathy Finck; Executive Director, Cobb Alcohol Taskforce
- Amy Hoffman; Youth Council Manager, Cobb Alcohol Taskforce 
- Jeff Inman; Cobb County School District
- Officer Jeff Rose; Acworth Police Department
- Laura Searcy; Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Cathy Wendholt-McDade; Cobb Public Health
