Cobb County's Best Kept Entertainment Secret? Not (secret) anymore!

If you are not yet familiar with CenterStage North, please allow us to introduce ourselves! We are Cobb County's oldest community theater. We have been entertaining Cobb County audiences for 40 years. Many of those were at the Jenny T. Anderson Theater at the Cobb County Civic Center, but since the early 1990's we have operated out of the black box theater at the Art Place Mountain View, at 3330 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, GA 30066.

We produce five shows each year for 2 to 3 week runs. Our next production is Christmas at Sweet Apple, a Southern Christmas play adapted from the writings of Celestine Sibley.  This is a heartfelt collection of holiday stories from the pen of acclaimed Georgia writer Celestine Sibley. Tales of Jingles the dancing cow; Miz Tippens, the "hero" of Snout Island, and other colorful characters are told to the accompaniment of traditional and original holiday music. A real family favorite.

The play runs weekends from December 13-21, 2013 and you can buy tickets online at http://www.centerstagenorth.org/ or call us at 770-331-0079.

You can find us on the internet at our web page (http://www.centerstagenorth.org/), on Twitter (@CStageNorth) at https://twitter.com/cstagenorth, and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pages/CenterStage-North-Theatre/214854641866024.

We also offer season tickets for our 2014 season, Beached Wails (by Atlanta playwright Topher Payne), Always a Bridesmaid, Squabbles, and Blithe Spirit.

Please keep an eye on this space in the Patch for more news and information, both onstage and backstage, from CenterStage North, Cobb County's oldest community theater.
