What To Do With Delk Spectrum?

Christos' Pizza is on the move and there's plenty of available space for shops. What would you like to see go there?

Not many East Cobb shopping centers have gone through a transformation quite like Delk Spectrum

Located at 2900 Delk Road, at the intersection of Powers Ferry Road, this retail center has been anchored for many years by a Publix supermarket. 

But so many of the shops around it have left in recent years, and despite some new stores arriving, the 100,000-square-foot Delk Spectrum, managed by Regency Centers, has nearly 25,000 square feet of empty space.

That figure will grow when , with 3,740 square feet, moves to Terrell Mill Village Shopping Center next month, leaving Delk Spectrum with few food options. 

There's a and soon a Jets' Pizza will open.

But the space formerly occupied by Outback Steakhouse has been dormant for years. 

Another big vacancy is the former Blockbuster Video store. 

Still, Delk Spectrum has a variety of recognized stores -- there's a Payless Shoe store, a T Mobile store, a UPS Store, a  store and a Liberty Tax Service office. 

occupies the former Chapter 11 bookstore location and operates a full-service dentistry.
