Recruiting for Medical Staffing Jobs

Applications will be taken Wednesday at the Georgia Department of Labor office in Cobb.

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Victory Staffing fill a number of jobs in medical offices around metro Atlanta next week. The recruitment will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, located at 465 Big Shanty Road in Marietta.

The staffing company, which will be recruiting several experienced workers to manage medical staffs, will discuss the locations of the offices during the recruitment process.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), at least three years of experience managing a medical, or some other professional, office. They must also have computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel. Since they must work with clinic directors and supervise front-office personnel, they must also have strong organizational skills and excellent written and oral communications skills. Office managers will also serve as financial counselors for patients.

The office hours are 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. The annual salary is $40,000-$45,000, depending on experience.

The company will conduct background checks and drug screening tests on selected applicants.
