Michaels Now Open at The Avenue
A week of grand opening festivities and giveways continues through next Friday.
Michaels is now open at The Avenue, and the crafts store will be celebrating its move with week-long festivities and sales.
The retailer is occupying the former Borders space after leaving smaller quarters at the nearby East Cobb Crossing Shopping Center.
Hourly giveaways will mark today's first day of business, up until 9 p.m., along with a live radio remote from Q100 and free childrens' entertainment.
The rest of the week includes a number of Show IN Tell classes in which customers learn how to make a variety of crafts, and even knitting and crocheting and cake and cooking decorating.
