East Lake Pavilions Loses 2 Tenants

The East Cobb retail center also has gained a new business.

The Pavilions at East Lake Shopping Center in East Cobb is losing two tenants.

A going out of business sale is underway at Atlanta Ski and Snowboard, which is located two doors down from Kroger in the Roswell Road retail center.

The Pavilions also has available restaurant space following the departure of Panera Bread during the holidays. The eatery has relocated to Barrett Parkway.

We're still trying to find out when renovation of the designated J. Christopher's space will be taking place; a sign for the breakfast and brunch spot has been hanging for nearly a year, but no work has been done to convert the former Smith Ace hardware store.

A T-Mobile store has recently opened at the Pavilions.

What businesses would you like to see coming into the Pavilions at East Lake? What does this retail center need?

They have been actively working on the J. Christopher's over the past month. I was told by another tenant/owner that they will be opening some time in April/May, and that all of the kinks have been worked out. Let's hope so!

McAlisters Deli, Zoe's Kitchen, Schlotskys, Jason's Deli, My Friends Place, Five Guys (or even better - MOXIE BURGER!!), Willys, Pilates/Yoga/Personal Training Studio, Bricks4Kidz (lego robotics for kids) or something like Ryre.org, Gymboree/Little Gym - infant/todder activity center, Sam Flax, Pig tails and crew cuts (I heard Great Clips is headed out soon as well?) Play it Again Sports, Weight Watchers, Brusters, Smoothie King, Fresh 2 Order. Independent Book Store or discount bookstore like Books a Million, or better yet, put a library in like the one over at the Kroger at Parkaire! Anything to breathe some life into this area!!

I'll be there; rabbi Alper should be good (his You Tube videos are entertaining). CongratulationsRead More to Henry Hene and the Habitat coalition for doing such wonderful work and promoting "We Build to Coexist, We Coexist to Build." Congratulations to Addie and Harvey Schneider -- both are the definition of mensch.

Hurray for the "old school" which just means having a few manners. Ms. Smith alwaysRead More seems to present three facts after what seems to be extensive research. People can disagree without being rude or spouting half truths. I'm glad we still have some ethical and honest people in our midst.
