East Cobb Restaurant Owner Says Thanks

Common Quarter opened on Johnson Ferry Road last fall.

Chris Talley, the lead partner for the new East Cobb restaurant Common Quarter, passes along this message. He and his partners have been mourning the death of Ryan Hidinger, a chef at the noted Muss & Turner's restaurant in Smyrna-Vinings and well-known among diehard Atlanta foodies.

Talley also reports that everyone is fine after Common Quarter was hit by two armed robbers over the weekend:

Common Quarter would like to thank East Cobb for warmly embracing and enthusiastically receiving our opening. We are working hard to provide you with a dining experience that is unique, adventurous, comfortable and rewarding.

Our vision was to build a dining establishment in the middle of the East Cobb neighborhood, that rivals those of our friends ITP and give them a reason to visit OUR part of town.

The concept is Southern Coast & Farm, with a large focus on locally sourced and house made menu items. The atmosphere creates a nostalgic emotion of sea side retreats and southern landscape. Our Italian marble bar top and cozy seats that hug it, are becoming home to many of you.

The 20-seat community table with accompanying low country boil buckets, is providing a lot of family fun. The patio fireplace is also a highly requested spot for enjoying a glass of wine and rocking with friends.
