East Cobb Petco Opens Oct. 20

The new location at Woodlawn Point Shopping Center will be having a grand opening event.

The new East Cobb Petco store will be opening its doors on Oct. 20.

Located in the former Pet Supermarket space at the Woodlawn Point Shopping Center, 1100 Johnson Ferry Road, Petco will have a grand opening sale during that weekend. 

Ribbon-cutting takes places at 8:55 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. 

The event includes pet adoptions, gift card and tote bag giveaways and other services.

Petco will be directly competing in East Cobb with PetSmart at Merchant's Walk Shopping Center, also located in the Johnson Ferry Road corridor. They are the two largest pet superstore chains in the country, according to Pet Business
