East Cobb Citizen of the Year Named

EAST COBBER publisher Cynthia Rozzo has been honored by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce's East Cobb Area Council.

Cynthia Rozzo, the publisher of the EAST COBBER magazine and website, has been named the 2011 East Cobb Citizen of the Year by the East Cobb Area Council of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce

She was honored on Nov. 2 at the council's quarterly breakfast meeting at Indian Hills Country Club. 

A native of Ohio, Rozzo has lived in East Cobb since 1991. She founded the EAST COBBER as a free monthly magazine in 1993 and two years later started the EAST COBBER  that is held in September to create a more unified sense of community.

She has been involved in numerous community and local business organizations, and is a past president of the East Cobb Business Association

In 2010, Rozzo was among the local female business owners honored during Cobb's celebration of Women's History Month.

"All I did was just hang in there. I was in it for the long haul," Rozzo said of her entrepreneurial venture.

Rozzo and her husband and their three children live in the Park Ridge neighborhood of East Cobb.
