East Cobb Businesses Pass Compliance Checks
But several were cited for permit violations and one restaurant failed its check.
Several East Cobb restaurants and businesses were subject to alchohol compliance checks this week, and the results were mixed.
The Cobb County Police Department's Permits/Regulatory Services Unit conducted visited 10 retail locations serving or selling alcohol on Monday, using underage volunteers. The following businesses passed the test:
-- Kouzina Christos, 1453 Terrell Mill Road;
-- Windy Hill Package Store, 2425 Windy Hill Road;
-- Sam's Mart, 2678 Windy Hill Road;
-- Harry's Pizza and Subs, 2150 Powers Ferry Road;
-- Hillside Package Store, 2150 Powers Ferry Road.
The following businesses passed but were cited for other permit violations:
-- Mellow Mushroom, 2000 Powers Ferry Road;
-- Citgo Food Mart, 2471 Windy Hill Road;
-- Circle M Food Shop, 2779 Windy Hill Road;
-- Texaco Food Mart, 2145 Powers Ferry Road.
The following business failed the compliance check and sold alcohol to an undercover minor:
-- Three Dollar Cafe Jr., 3000 Windy Hill Road.
