Crepe Cafe Opens in East Cobb

The new eatery located in the East Cobb Crossing Shopping Center also has had its first food inspection.

On Monday we told you about what's leaving the East Cobb Crossing Shopping Center -- the Michaels store that's moving to the old Borders space -- and we neglected to tell you what's new at retail center at Roswell and Johnson Ferry.

Crepe Cafe has opened and even has gotten a food inspection from Cobb and Douglas Public Health -- a near-perfect score of 99 in mid-January.

It's so new, in fact, there aren't hours posted on the front, so we're asking if any of you who have eaten there what's on the menu, and how you like the place.

Tell us what you think in the comments, and if you have restaurant news to share, please e-mail wendy.parker@patch.com: openings, closings, moves, new menu items and featured promotions, etc.

The East Cobb dining scene is hopping these days -- with Valenti's and Reveille Cafe arriving and Houston's and Caffe Fortunato departing -- and we want to keep you up-to-date on what's going on.

I stopped by when I saw the sign but had already eaten dinner. Picked up a menu. They have savory crepes, with meats and hearty vegetables, and sweet crepes with fruits, nutella, cream, etc. I plan to go with the wife tomorrow.
