Cobb Chamber to Hold Interactive Health Care Event

Elected officials, medical experts and business leaders will be participating in an all-day session on Monday.

Congressman Tom Price, Georgia Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, Georgia Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens and Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens headline a list of elected officials and business leaders gathering Monday to discuss health care reform at the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber's Interactive Health Care Summit takes place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at the Cobb Galleria Centre, 2 Galleria Parkway Southeast, in the Cumberland Area.

The Cobb Chamber, in partnership with the Georgia Chamber, Gwinnett Chamber, Metro Atlanta Chamber, Council for Quality Growth and the Regional Business Coalition, invite you to join us for a unique and interactive Health Care Summit, providing business leaders from across the state with an understanding of what health care reform means for each organization and what to do about it.

Through high profile speakers, structured table discussions with businesses of similar sizes and a customized workbook designed specifically for this event, attendees will depart the Summit with a clear action plan relating to requirements under the new laws and options to address these requirements.

Other speakers and panelists will include: Reynold Jennings, president and CEO of WellStar; Donna Hyland, president and CEO of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta; Dr. Rob Schreiner, executive medical director at Kaiser Permanente; and Steve Millard, president and executive director of the Council of Smaller Enterprises.
