Cobb Chamber Event Draws Small-Business Crowd

East Cobb Business Association among those represented at last week's first-ever Summer JAM.

The Cobb Chamber of Commerce and the county's 12 business associations, including the East Cobb Business Assocation joined forces for the First Annual Summer Joint Association Meeting (JAM) last Thursday.

David Connell, president and CEO of the Cobb Chamber, said he was pleased with the turnout, which included more than 650 Cobb Chamber members.

"We had to cut off (pre)registration last week," Connell said, adding that several people showed up at the door and paid as well.

The event was held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the  It serves as the first event collaboration of the Cobb Chamber and the Coalition of Cobb County Business Associations.
