1st Thursday Returns to Merchant's Walk

Enjoy food, music, fun and savings at East Cobb's signature retail center.

Merchant’s Walk Shopping Center will host its monthly event Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The free outdoor, community-driven event features live top 40s covers performed Marietta-based band Ocean Street with grilled hot dogs compliments of Whole Foods Market and Cook’s Warehouse, cool beverages, and gift bags full of savings from various Merchant’s Walk retailers.

To keep the kids entertained, there will also be a coloring station and face painting from 6-8 p.m. In addition to complimentary entertainment, select Merchant’s Walk retailers will extend shopping hours until 9 p.m. and offer special in-store savings for event guests.

Families, friends and neighbors are encouraged to bring out their lawn chairs, and munch on complimentary hot dogs while enjoying live entertainment and generous savings offered by Merchant’s Walk retailers.

I'll be there; rabbi Alper should be good (his You Tube videos are entertaining). CongratulationsRead More to Henry Hene and the Habitat coalition for doing such wonderful work and promoting "We Build to Coexist, We Coexist to Build." Congratulations to Addie and Harvey Schneider -- both are the definition of mensch.

Hurray for the "old school" which just means having a few manners. Ms. Smith alwaysRead More seems to present three facts after what seems to be extensive research. People can disagree without being rude or spouting half truths. I'm glad we still have some ethical and honest people in our midst.
