Catch the Consignment Sale Fever

Stretch your spring & summer clothing budget with local consignment sales this month! Shop for gently used items for babies and kids to save money on items they quickly outgrow.

With March comes spring and...lots of consignment sales! Mark your calendars, go through your children's closets, and get ready to shop for spring & summer bargains on all things for babies and kids. Get some great tips for shopping at consignment sales from a mom blogger at kidzsignments.com

1. All4Kids Consignment Sale: Clothes, Toys, Baby Equip., Books, Bikes, Shoes, Linens & More

 Where & When: March 1-3: Jim Miller Park

The Rules: At each sale, if you donate $5 cash for missions you’ll be given early admittance at 8:30am on the first morning of the sale (no donations needed for children). No strollers are allowed before 11am at any of the sales on the first day. Many items are marked down 30% on Saturday at each sale. They accept cash, debit ($1 fee), Mastercard and Visa ($2 fee).

2. Mt. Bethel Children’s Consignment Sale: 400 sellers consign spring and summer children’s clothing, toys, books, furniture, and more.

Where: Mt. Bethel UMC, 4385 Lower Roswell Rd. Marietta

When: March 9 - 9:30am-7pm

           March 10 - 9am-12pm:

What’s Cool: They also have a boutique section for upscale brands, custom-made, and smocked clothing. You can also purchase “bribes” for your kids or treats to refuel at their bake sale! On Saturday, everything is 30% off. All proceeds go to support local and global missions to benefit families and children of all ages.

The Rules: No children allowed on the sales floor until 12pm on Friday (except babies in slings or front/back packs). They are providing a loving nursery from 8:30am-12pm for $4 per hour, per child, with an $8 per hour family maximum. Nursery is available for this event, but registration is required. 3.  All Children’s Consignment Sale: 150 sellers offering infant, children, junior, and maternity clothing, toys, games, books, DVDs, CDs, and bikes,  baby equipment and children's furniture all in excellent, gently used condition

When: March 9 - 9am-8pm

           March 10- 9am-1pm

Where: St. Andrew UMC, 3455 Canton Rd., Marietta

The Rules: Cash & Check only, Saturday is 1/2 price day!

4. The Children's Garden Consignment Sale

When: March 9  - 9am to 6pm 

           March 10 - 9am to 1pm 

Where: East Cobb Church of Christ, 5240 Roswell Rd., Marietta

The Rules: Cash & Credit/Debit cards accepted, many items 1/2 off on Saturday
