Don't Avoid Stress...Just Handle It!!

Your ability to cope with stress is predicated on your ability to adapt to the stresses that come along...there's no way to avoid stress, but there is a way you can raise your resistance to it!

Your ability to handle stress is a key component in how well you are moving toward wholeness (more on the differences between health, wellness and wholeness later).

Understand first that health is the normal state of your body and is essentially your ability to successfully adapt to most of the stresses that come your way. Your ability to adapt to stress comes from how strong your internal resistance is and is governed by how fully you are expressing your life energy in your body.

If your resistance to stress is at a level 5, and a level 2 stress comes along, could you handle that? Of course you say. You acknowledge the stress is there, but you can easily handle it and go on about your day. Let's say a level 5 stress comes along...can you handle that? Yes you can, but it takes everything you've got to be able to deal with it. How many of you are in this boat? Too many. 

Let's say a level 7 stress comes along...now how are you doing? Now you're breaking down!! There's no way you can handle the stress with the current level of resistance. Most people decide to give up at this point and escape into depression, anxiety, addiction to eating, sleeping, alcohol and drugs.

I'm telling you life is life...there is stress that comes along with it! The healthy approach is to raise your internal resistance and therefore your ability to adapt to the stress that comes along.

What if instead of trying to avoid and escape the stresses, you begin to exercise, you eat a great and healthy diet, you drink tons of water, you maintain a deliberate and positive focus and you get your spine aligned and establish a constant clear neurological connection between your brain and your body?

Doing those things will raise your internal resistance to new levels. Now let's say your internal resistance was an 8. Could you now handle the level 2 stress? Easily right? You may not even notice it's there. What about the level 5, 6, and 7? You can handle all of them too.

You see, when you are fully expressing your life energy in your body, you are easily able to adapt to most of the stresses in your life and you can live with more health and more life!
