The Mabry Park Preview, a school fun run, craft shows and more highlight another beautiful fall weekend for outdoor events.

You can let the East Cobb community know about your event by posting it for free on East Cobb Patch! Include photos, videos and flyers to accompany your information, and craft the words exactly how you like them.

Most of the following events were posted by East Cobb Patch users, so make sure to get out the word about what's happening in your faith community, school, service group, youth and recreational sports organization or neighborhood association.

Mabry Park Preview -- The Friends of Mabry Park, in partnership with Cobb County Parks and Recreation, will be hosting the Mabry Park Preview from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Located in Northeast Cobb County, Mabry Park is over 26 beautiful acres of undeveloped rolling pasture and woodlands. Park at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 4495 Sandy Plains Road to catch a shuttle to the park. Admission is free. For more details

Mt. Zion UMC Craft Show -- The event features 52 arts and crafts vendors, silent auction, door prize, bake sale, casserole pool, quilt drawing, pictures with the Santaand fresh baked apple pies and cookies prepared throughout the show. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Kincaid E.S. 5K Cougar Challenge and Fun Run -- A 5K race and 1-mile fun run starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and benefits the school foundation and physical education department. A pancake breakfast is included with race registration and takes place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday. 1410 Kincaid Road. For more details

Lassiter H.S. Band Craft Show -- The Lassiter High School Band Booster Club is sponsoring this event, which now features more than 100 quality crafters. Come do your Christmas shopping while enjoying the delicious food from the concession stand. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. 2600 Shallowford Road. For more details 

Legally Blonde, The Musical -- Act3 Productions, the professional-level community theater based in Sandy Springs, will present Legally Blonde the Musical, the award-winning musical comedy based on the popular MGM movie of the same name. Performances are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Act3 Playhouse, 6285-R Roswell Road, Sandy Springs. For more details

Prayer Breakfast at Johnson Ferry Baptist -- VOICE Today is devoted to preventing child sexual abuse and providing healing for survivors of child sexual abuse. The breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and a $5 donation is requested. The church is located at 817 Johnson Ferry Road. For more details

Faith Lutheran Craft Shoppe -- The church's Lutheran Women's Missionary League chapter is holding this event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. More than 25 different vendors in a spacious indoor facility selling a wide variety of hand-crafted items. Food, drinks and bake sale items also available. Musical Entertainment provided throughout the day by Faith Lutheran School children. For more details

Jewish Book Festival Authors -- The Book Festival of the MJCCA is pleased to announce that two of its unique author events will take place in East Cobb. At 1 p.m. Sunday, Doreen Rappaport, author of "Beyond Courage: The Untold Story of Jewish Resistance During the Holocaust," will discuss her book at Congregation Etz Chaim, 1190 Indian Hills Parkway.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, Ronda Robinson, author of "Beyond Politics," will discuss her book at Temple Kol Emeth, 1415 Old Canton Road. Both events are free and open to the community. For more details
