Booked for the Evening...A Literary Masquerade

The "Booked for the Evening -- A Literary Masquerade" is a  flagship black tie event includes cocktails, dinner and auctions at the prestigious Marietta Country Club on Saturday evening, Oct. 22nd starting at 6:30pm.

Melissa Fay Greene will be honored with the Jim & Carol Ney Literary Award, for her outstanding literary contributions.

Celebrated Southeastern artists, including Susan Cofer, Marc Tetro, Libby Mathews and Diane Isakson have designed masks, that are works of art, that will be offered in our live auction. Click the following link to see that updated list of items as they are added.

Individual masks, that have been decorated by Addison & Hickory Hills Elementary students, will also be available for purchase.

The KSU Tellers from the Department of Theatre, Performance Studies & Dance will present “A Living Library” for your entertainment.

Music provided by the Georgia Symphony Jazz Ensemble, Georgia Symphony

Tickets will be $150.00 per person. Printed receipt is your ticket.

With tight county government budgets, library systems are experiencing cuts in hours, staff, budgets, etc.. The CLF fundraising events apply donated funds to supplement the Cobb County Library System.
