A Champion Ice Sculptor—Again

East Cobb resident Victor Dagatan recently brought back top honors at the BP World Ice Art Championships in Alaska.

Victor Dagatan carves ice for a living in his job as a culinary artist at the Ritz-Carlton Resort in Atlanta.

But he also collects trophies for his talents in creative ways that go beyond the need for a paycheck.

The East Cobb resident recently teamed up with a retired Japanese farmer to earn first place in the single-block category at the BP World Ice Art Championships in Fairbanks, AK.
