Wheeler Robotics Team Preps for World Event

This week's East Cobb Whiz Kids recently won the First Tech Challenge at Southern Poly.

Wheeler High School’s Robotics Team, the CircuitRunners, won the First Tech Challenge Championship held at Southern Polytechnic Institute on Feb. 25-26.

The CircuitRunners had the 1st place winning ROBOT, and also won the INSPIRE Award, which is the most prestigious FTC award, and is given to the team that truly embodied the challenge of the FTC program.

Winning either of these awards individually qualifies a team to compete in the FTC World Championship, so the CircuitRunners are doubly qualified. This year’s FTC World Championship will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, April 27 – 30.
